It's all good, Pont. As you say, there are different choices and people are free to choose. You've made it clear, though, that US customers have a cheaper option with clubheli. If they have to pay shipping again to get parts in a separate parcel, it may not be cheaper in the end, though.

Congrats on the new heli. Have fun!!!
Thanks

My first session with this heli was in my small small garden(like an big livingroom) so it was only a hovering test.

It's more stable than an solo pro V2 left/right tail only turns dosen't move forward/backward.
It feels directly that this is an much heavier heli I dont mind that much to hover 20 cm from my self with SP V2 but with this it's a bit scary.

Price for this heli in my local hobby shop is 1199SEK ( Swedish krona) alot more than the prices mentioned here but not overpriced IMO for a swedish shop.

Ok second impression.
Everything in rotorhead is very loosely assembled ie. mixer arms have some thing like 1mm play and only need 0.1mm to move freely.

Second fly session in an big open field.
First it feels like flying a NE Solo Pro Vx!
Then it started blowing and heli doesent have any FF so I can't fly direct against wind(only a light breeze 1-2m/s).
So I discovered that links was mounted on the short arms on swashplate and EPA adjustment is very narrow on that servo.
I moved links to long arms(ball) and got better forward motion.
I going to test to adjust EPA after my battery is charged.

Does the TX have the dual rate switch? (pressing the stick). Perhaps this is the reason of the short servo movement (narrow endpoints).

Otherwise it seems to be set in factory for novice....

As far as I know, this heli doesn't have subtrim. Unless there is a different way to invoke it.

That's exactly what I thought.

I thought that was a TX setting for indoor (aka novice) and outdoor.

Sorry to say: I can't find EPA adjustment.
Subtrim is there but I haven't tested gyro adjustment yet.

Tx is in mode 2 and in advanced mode (full circle).

1- Enter subtrim when your heli is powered up and see if the rudder responds. It should respond, contrary to the solo pro. This means the TX is in subtrim mode but the heli isn't.

2- Trim the aileron all the way to the left then enter subtrim. Trim as you need, then exit subtrim. Upon exiting subtrim, all your trims should be dead center. Power off the TX and power it back on. The aileron setting will be back to all the way to the left. Subtrim doesn't work for this heli and if you follow the above steps, this will make it clear to you. It appears to work untill you turn off the TX and turn it back on to find out that the trim settings are no longer centered but back to what they were before you entered subtrim mode. Try it and report back.

Hi

I have now tested twice with subtrim on tail rotor and it works.
1. Press button repededly listen for beep.
2. Adjust trim (marker in disp don't move) 10 clicks to right heli turns to right.
3. Press button lissen for beep.
4. Remove battery in heli.
5. Turn off TX.
6. Turn on TX.
7. Attach heli battery.
8. Try to fly heli still turns right with trims in center on display.
9. Enter subtrim.
10. Get heli to hover only with adjusting trim.
11. Same as 3. save subtrim.
12. Repeat steps 4 to 8 to verify.

You got an preproduction 328 from your neighbor didn't you?

Sweet! What about gyro gain? It would really make my day if this works.

Actually I noticed this behavior also.
But I still claims the subtrim function to work.
Also as you pointed out before tail works in subtrim mode that is two things that are different to the Solo Pro Vx that I have.

OK, now I'm really confused. Off to try this again tomorrow and I will report my findings. I certainly hope that gyro gain and subtrim is available on this bird because I'm buying one next week.

Ha! OK, I think I'm right, then. Subtrim doesn't work because when the settings are back to what they were before, the heli behaves accordingly, hence, adjusting trim in subtrim mode is useless since you are back to square one when you turn off the TX and turn it back on.

PS: And you mentioned being unable to access EPA mode. This confirms my findings. I was also unable to invoke EPA mode.
