Who's got flying weather?

It is windy here in Lincoln Nebraska, and I am wondering if anyone has nice calm weather?

perfect flying wx here on the high desert/eastern slopes of the Cascades....no wind, the calm before afternoon thunderstorms and hail, so the report says.

Of course I'm stuck at work all day.

We've had a really windy cold spring this year...

Bud, stuck again Bud

We have good flying weather on Cape Cod. Winds about 7 mph from SE and sunny. Best weather in quite a while. I will be flying this afternoon.

Bright sun, blue sky, but a very strong cold wind out of the North here in swinging London UK.

It's raining and chilly here. Just a few days ago it was like 80* and sunny, and a few days before that it was ... rainy and chilly... and somewhere in the past week we were getting hail the size of golf balls.

Around here we literally go from the weather being too hot and sticky to go flying, to too cold and wet, all in like a day or two. It's crazy, but it keeps us on our toes

Here in lincoln NE it was 96 degrees and then the cold front came through and we got 1.5 inch hail and wind, and now it is cold.

Not me. It's about 40 degrees, blowing 32mph at the moment and gusting up to 45mhp.

It is a good build day though.

A bit cloudy, but almost windless here in VA. I went flying yesterday, and will probably go again tomorrow.

Nice flyin here in the Boston burbs. Mostly gray and bright overcast, sixty degrees, winds no more than five to seven mph all day. The usual hard core aerojunkies were out. And even a few of the soft cores, including a precocious ten year old maidening his PZ T-28 for the first time. (The two-pounder, not the micro.) Plane and pilot both did great.

If he's doing his maiden on a day that's keeping some of the less-inclined pilots away, he's just building a nice, solid temper against the weather.

Later on, he'll be the one flying in a thunderstorm with a LONG wire trailing from his plane to the ground.

Has anyone ever tried that?
