Ok
The webinar was great, but now I need help tuning the pid loop. Straight off the flash the copter was oscilating. So I turned down the P on the roll and pitch. I turned it down to the point where the oscilation is gone. Now the problem is when it starts to roll right and I adjust slightly with the alieron in the opposite direction the thing way over corrects and basicly flips. Any good guides to adjusting the PID loops.
Thanks a Bunch
Shawn

Got the OLED working, still can't get it to just hop from one screen to another. I want to see the vbat stats when I'm in the air.

Extra board, crystals and BT module arrived today. I'll be heating up my soldering station tonight and upload some pics.

I have one question for Colin. When we were discussing the GPS units on Sunday, you mentioned that the one you are prototyping has a baro on board.

I've seen some GPS modules with mags but never boro. Can you clarify?

Hey there Shawn we may have to try and meet up sometime since we both live here in Lincoln. The only reason I didn't send you a pm with this message is that I read earlier you didn't know how to use that feature yet.

I enjoyed listening in on the webex on Sunday I wish I could stay for most but I was busy with my kids while the wife was out and about so I was multi tasking at the time maybe next Sunday I will join in as I understand the most part of setting up my quad but I just can't get the settings that I am totally looking for. I want super smooth easy to fly picture taking kind of flying. If I use the fpv it will only be to preview what I am taking a pic of or video no goggles thing.

OK so something odd about the BT unit. I followed the instructions online and hooked everything up on one of the two units I bought. After pairing it with my tab I could get into the application just fine so I figured it all worked swimming and moved to install on the other zoom board.

I tried go actually go in and do the setup on the new board (after flashing the appropriate firmware with the usb) I can pair and the app sees the board because the light goes solid. That's as far as I can go..... I try to read anything through the BT and nothing. I left it there connected to my tab and then my phone for 20 min or so each and nothing.

I checked and rechecked my cabling and everything is correct. I even swapped the tx and rx just to see if that worked...

I went back to the old board and got the same result. Am I missing something?

Does it matter that the device is called linvor instead of witespy as the instructions state? Is something not configured in them?
