:-( i couldn't wait :-""(

i wanted the gps as a fail safe option for my fpv quad in case i lose the video single (which happened to me).

hopefully the navigator will do the job

i'll keep an eye for Colin's GPS,, any demo/specs that i can read about ?

Killab: GPS has been moved back a little while we deal with the recall, of all V1E boards.
Really he is waiting on a large enough amount to come in.
But, the recall is priority one.
Sorry for the delay!

Many thanks Colin! The board with the new firmware is killer, love the self calibration! Like the alti/atti hold, seems as good(maybe better) as my NAZA. Reassembled the quad with Witespys flashed ESCs, really smooth even with a slightly bent prop adapter from when the board failed and the quad landed on my garage roof(new one on the way). Couldnt be happier.

I big thanks to Colin from me too. He replaced my faulty V1E board real quick. I flew the replacement board today both LOS and FPV, its working exceptionally well with mostly stock MultiWii 2.1 settings on a HT-FPV frame. The altitiude hold worked great too.

My Quadrino zoom Board drives me crazy:

Quick question to the pros, when i do a loop like a oval i pull full elev and reduce trottle to zero for one or two seconds to let the rig fall straight to the ground and catch it again.
Works once, twice and sometimes a third time but then when the copter is up side down the board disarms, motors stop and the copter falls from sky like a stone.

Arming is on "yaw right", disarming "yaw left"
Back on the ground i can arm again and continue flying.

Same MultiWii 2-1 setup i use on NanoWii without this specific problem.
Ideas?

Let's see what is going on.
What version board do you have?
You should not be reducing to zero throttle.
You want to keep the pops spinning.
If you doing full aerobatics then you don't want motor stop on. Because you don't want them to ever stop spinning.
I don't know about the disarmming.
But I will do some research and see what happens.
If you have time maybe we can chat for a little bit on Friday.

Do you have mag active, or any other switches that might be creating yaw input to disarm?

I'm thinking mag inverted may try to spin hard enough to disarm.

I have also heard that some gyros do not behave normally above certain angles.

I am still wondering what is your boards version and when was it bought.

I am still waiting a a return call for a fellow Multi-wii expert.
We all all trying to figure out what is going on.

You are so close.
If 3.4 helps a little go down to 3.1. You should be somewhere around there.
But 3.7 is too much right now.
Your quad will respond better to your inputs and will be smooth as frozen water.

Teramax:This is not the fix for you, it is a test.
You could use it as a fix.
But my thoughts are you are staying to long at zero throttle.
To determined, what really is going on.
I would like you to try this!
Activate arming to one of you swtiches.

If you do this, you can arm and disarm from the switch.
The yaw arming and disarming, will not work once this is attached to a switch.
So, you don't have to worry about turnning it off during flight.
If this works like this, then it more than likely pilot error.
Plus after doing about six loops last night. I hasd someone wtach my stick movements and I never reduced the throttle below 1/4 throttle

If it still does that, Colin may need to see your board for some testing.

I still would like to know what is your boards version and date.

So on Roll make a change / and pitch too? Thanks also. I put P on Roll and Pitch at 3.4 . I wont have time to flight test it until tomorrow. Let me know if I should leave P on Pitch at 3.7
