I broke the USB adapter off my Quadrino in a recent crash and am using an FTDI to USB adapter to connect through the serial pins. I am able to read/write in MW config, but cannot load a sketch. I asked this in the MW thread here:
https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...ostcount=27927 The guys in there say I need another connection to a reset, but the serial bus on the quadrino doesn't have a reset pin. Is there a reset pin on it somewhere that I'm missing? |

Ya I guess I could do that, the connections just looked kinda small and I didn't trust my soldering, but if there's no other option I will.

Take a snap shot of the area and send to the Guru and witespy, see what they say?

Hi guys,
Maybe a noob question, but should PID values be different for 3S and 4S batteries? I am flying both now to understand what I need and on 4S my quad is a bit more wobbly. And second question, how do I use the barometer? I tried to enable it yesterday several times and every time my quad either ran up high as hell, or dropped onto the ground just after enabling it. |

2. which baro you got... the precision of baro will cause the problem also, do you have a "wind shield" on fc.. the baro will be affected by the airflow.. if you increase throttle, the air pressure around baro will increase if not shielded.. vice versa. so you may want to put a shield on it |

2. I am using quadrino rev 1e with 'MS5611 High Resolution Barometer' and yes, i have a shield. I mean, maybe I am not doing something right. Like the position of sticks when i enable baro. Or maybe I should compensate this fall/rise after enabling baro by throttle stick? |

if possible you might want to check the baro reading when it is hovering.... or when prop is on... safe way is 1. bluetooth (several buck can save a lot of time.. esp for tuning) 2. fix quad on a not moving object... and let the props run |

I think I might have a problem with hovering on one altitude before enabling alt-hold. I recall that it may have been moving up or down a bit when enabled alt-hold. Btw, another question - i have a shield only on top of the board, but there are holes under the board and on the sides, because the base plate of the frame is smaller than my shield. Will it matter? |

If Colin would provide a Quadrino with integrated bluetooth, i'd buy it straight! getting experience FPV'ing the Quadrino (only gyros in this flight and it is raw footage from Gopro1 set to R3) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYqEc5iRtU4 |
