The coolness factor should not be underrated
. It's likeness to the Hunter Killer from the Terminator is a hugh factor in purchasing decision.
That being said, on the video was an 8 minute flight, burned 1600 mAh of a 2600 pack. Not super aggressive flying, but like all my quads, if I do a full throttle vertical blast for 5 seconds, they kind of disappear in the sky, so does it really matter in terms of efficiency?
My quads do fly nice, but I love the orientation of a tri-copter, and this v-tail flies better and is very easy to see from an orientation standpoint.
Besides ..... it is WAY COOL.
