You know , sometimes planes aren't great super slow fliers ... unless you build it full size and keep it Super light ...

So easy you can build a warp 9 out of most any foam , cardboard , corroplast , we even made one of EPP… I loved this plane at first sight !!!… Thanks Jeff , wherever you are !!!

And great FUN to decorate with a Sharpie , which adds almost NO weight …

I'd so glad this thread got bumped because I wouldn't have stumbled upon it otherwise. Thanks OP for finding it. Plane is built, waiting for the sun to come up so I can maiden it. I think I built it far too heavy with way too much hot glue, it feels like a 18 ounces or something with my 1300mah 2S batteries and quadcopter brushless motor. We shall see!

Fp, it’ll only fly Faster , we routinely used 3cell 1100 mah batteries …

Our very Latest has an EPP wing and a “Waverider” (pool noodle foam) fuselage … Very Light , yet flexible enough to survive a dumb Thumb… like mine hahahaha

I can't get mine to fly but I suspect user error because I made the wing too short by an inch and the CG is off as a result.

How much of the throw does the plane require? Because of a fear of crashing my new motor/prop I haven't thrown it very hard, but if it needs to fly fast perhaps I need to chuck it a bit more!

An inch off the wing won’t make much difference , but the CG would …That HAS to be right …
