Put up one of the pylons at Tiger Field today (the base for the other one apparently got washed out last winter so we raced around the one and the windsock) to see what it would be like to fly the Vertigo's around pylons today! Sure is a blast and can't wait to try it with the FPV camera going!

Another great flying weekend, took a hop on top of John's Vertigo (via FPV goggles), put mine up with an action cam on it, and survived a rock strike with mine on landing (incredibly with no visible damage)! Had a pretty good turn out and some guy's from Sacramento expressed interest in coming up and joining us for some fun in the near future.

Was a good day of flying - in between full scale traffic!

Yeah Chris, that was a bit unusual but something we have to be prepared for (they don't always announce themselves). I posted something about that on the club web page http://highdesertrcclub.com/good-times/ If we get enough interest in wing racing we'll have to address the best way to notify and get everyone down quickly in case that happens during a heat!
