Post Your settings for the SecurityCam Sony CCD chipset cam endorsed by IBCrazy here!

As in the topic.... ive been flying this cam today for the first time today and noticed that i love the quality and higher res as compared to the live out from my gopro. Light handling is much better as well but still has the same issue with low sun in the west and the ground going dark.

I have not touched the settings yet at all and its still all set to default factory settings. Was hoping to hear what others are using as good general settings for daytime and late evening (but well lit) conditions. I dont know alot about setting up a camera to be honest

That one? I have it, too. My first one lasted two flights when I lost my plane so I've bought two of them in two weeks now . Still waiting on a new vtx so I haven't messed around with the settings yet. There are a few youtube videos out there for adjusting BLC area and gamma, however, I was never able to figure it out, granted, I only used it twice. Either things were way to dark or way to bright. Also couldn't figure out which type of white balance was the best.

I'd like to hear what settings you guys use for various lighting conditions, too, i.e., sunny and blue skies, sunny with puffy white clouds, overcast, evening, flying into the sun, etc.

Talk about coincidence, my skywalker crashed on the second flight with the camera also.

I turn off BLC for best results. With it on the sun tends to over illuminate everything.

I have now found an even better camera: http://www.securitycamera2000.com/pr...D%252dWDR.html

I saw this on X--Alien--X's plane at the fly-in. This is the best camera I have ever seen! I already ordered 3 of them

Alex, That does look like a nice one... Have you tested lowest voltage it will handle before cutting out yet?
