Man that was the best FPV Vid I have ever seen, you made me duck when you went through the building!!

I wish that we had an FPV camera on my work UAV. It is a bit to big to go where you do any way, 170" wing and 115lbs.

Our Electronics Engineer has a FPV system I'm gonna show him your Vid to inspire him.

Awesome video!!! How did you not get in trouble flying throught the main flightline shelter with people standing in there?

The entire film was a coordinated and planned event. The people standing near the gazebo were spotters that had flown with me for the whole thing and were very well aware of what was happening on that pass. Each one had a planned escape route and we had flown through the gazebo enough times to know that I could do it safely.

Good job then! That was amazing, and were you at the gate when you were flying? Wish I could make it this year, haven't missed a year for while now.

We had a couple of positions where we flew from. But yes, at the gate due to the hedge rows and trees I was flying from just inside the hedge row so I could get the best video reception at the critical moment.

That was a killer video. How long did it take? Joe Nall is a very beautiful place.

Well we shot about an hour of film. I just picked a few passes that I wanted to shoot and then just flew them over and over until I could put the plane exactly where I wanted. Since I then only had to pick the best run of each different pass the editing only took a couple of hours. I had lots of different stuff that I didn't use to keep the video relatively short.

If you were asking how long it takes to fly from one end to the other, it took about 2 mins at full throttle.
