Question
Skywalker 3 Build Advice and Eventual Build Thread!
Hey guys,
I recently got back into RC (originally was a gas person, now switching to electronics ) and have been really interested in trying to setup an FPV plane. I've learned a lot searching these forums and others and found that basically an FPV system requires little programming and is pretty simple to engineer together. I have some experience in electronics and circuit building, so I was planning on implementing some sort of flight controller in the distant future as well as ArduPilot (http://www.diydrones.com/). Anyways, I have spent many hours trying to figure out what are the best parts for my plane. I have enough of a budget to get some pretty high quality stuff, but not TOO high quality, if you know what I mean. A few questions I have before you take a look at my list: - What is the range on a radio/transmitter combo? I'm still unsure as to which radio to get since I sold my old one. - Not sure what LiPo's I will need - Would my motor and ESC been enough for more load in the future? - What would be a good setup or place to learn about a setup for head tracking? Here is my list. Please take a look and let me know what you think. There are a few misc items that I just added as I went through other people's builds and added them. Quote:
Eventually I will turn this into a build thread as I plan on ordering the materials pretty soon. |
