Hello all,

I am just now discovering the world of RC flight after years of flight simming. I never (until recently) considered how much nicer real is - compared to simulated.

So my first attempt at getting into the hobby was with a Cox (aka Nine Eagles) Extra 300. I purchased this about a month ago.

Unexpectedly, I discovered all those years of simming with a Gravis Xterminator (joy stick on left) taught my brain to fly airleron/elevator with my left thumb - mode 3 I discovered. I learned mode 2 is the US norm.

Well I attempted to rewire the transmitter with a Dremel and a bit of solder to match my brain - unfortunately the Tx didn't survive the experiment.

Today I am the happy owner of a Futaba 6EX (mode 3 - programmable) and a Parkzone T-28D.

I say all of that to say I have a fully functional Cox (Nine Eagles) Extra 300 for sale if anyone is interested. $25.

Not sure if you're familiar with the Cox/NE E3c...but it's made to take mild abuse. For example, the nose/prop is made to easily pop off.

There is a mild blemish in the front/lower fuselage and a bit of damage to the first prop I used (though still functional). But the second is pristine.

I do not have the box and the Tx is gone (though...in hindsight, I may have been able to bring it back).
