As big as a 90mm EDF using only a 70mm EDF
I'm sure you've seen it before, but why go to a 90mm when you can have the size of a 90mm aircraft using a 70mm EDF?
This scratch build prototype I mocked up and flew runs on a smell of an oily rag.... Designed for slope soaring, then altered to run a 70mm EDF allows great flight times. 7minutes from a little 2.2mAh 4S lipo or can take up to a 4.5mAh lipo. On the ridge (slope soaring) you can get 30 mins flight time! Alas - idea was to manufacture, still waiting even after all these years...
