Thanks Jeff, best instructional videos ive seen yet, the soldering tips are good, could be a problem fitting this to the Mikrokopter center plates though. might have to rethink, was really looking for a heavy lifting frame with square metal tubing.

I think
the open documentation is worth more.
its plug'n'play. no pc. the documentation u need is available.
or what do u mean exactly?

the openpilot is in another class. much more possibilities but therefor u have to setup with a pc.

Excellent reviews and the videos demonstrate the quad capabilities very well.
mine is on its way, looking forward to trying it.

since I am not very familiar with quads (helis mostly), did not understand exactly, does it have a compass ('heading hold" in the heli world). looks like it from your videos.
what exactly does idle-up mode mean in a quad (read it in the instructions) ? also, isn't orientation a big problem with the quad performing in the videos ? did not see any mark showing the front of the copter...

Thanks guys for sharing your experience with the board.

it doesn't need any though there's something that looks like a very basic configuration screneshot that was posted on 2nd or 3rd page of this thread.

Hi,

I have also test this TMF AQ50 board ... not buy from fauxteck but directly to mahui .. try to have contact directly in korea but no way for the moment ..

It is amazing ... easy to put in action no need computer , FTDI etc ...

On my setup without the advised hobbywing esc but with noname chinese esc and need put throttle to 20% to have gyro activation ...
But fly well and only one pots to set ...

Hobbywing = rctimer programmable = turnigy plush, so you are in fact using same recommended ESC

I got these Himodel professional series esc's from himodel.com and I think they are also identical to the others mentioned -

It's not pricey if you get it from the manufacturer, infact then the price is around ~120usd or maybe even less.
i would be appreciate if you correct our company name to foxtech,
for the price concern , i already adjusted the price a bit,
but you can buy directly from Taiwan if it's good for you.
and the 120usd board could only do X4 if you open you eyes widely

Gravity sucks :)
Still 20 bucks more expensive than infinity
