I didn't see any plans for control line WW-1 tanks.

A couple of years ago I was given five large boxes of plans. I mean PACKED boxes. All were FF models from the 1930s and 40s. I intend to donate them someday soon but really want to make sure they go somewhere that they will be preserved.

Do what this guy did; scan them and sell them online. Might make some nice pocket change.

Nahh, can't do it. They were given to me by a very old modeler that knew I understood and appreciated what all of it was. I'll give it all to the right group of people or organization.

Yep, SAM would be a good home for them.

My first sailplane was a Jasco (Frank Zaic) Thermic 50x. One of these days I want to get a set of plans, enlarge to 2meter and build a winch-launchable sleeper.

I like the Curtiss III C. The look of the biplane with retractable gear kind of grabs me.

Fair enough. How about scanning them and giving them away? Those plans were meant to be built from. Might give some young folks another interest than just RTF.

Bill, if your are interested, I have a short kit for a Jasco Thermic 72 just like the one I built in high school back in the early 1950's, 72 inch wingspan. I also have Thermic 50 and 50X plans.

Jim, if Bill decides not to get that kit from you, let me know what you want for it. It's not like I need any more kits, but I have a soft spot for Jetco stuff, being that the jetco kits actually built into flyable models, wheras Guillows kits.....
