My suggestion is Chimera (pronouced kEimira) a mythological fire-breathing female creature composed of the parts of multiple animals: upon the body of a lioness with a tail that ended in a snake's head, the head of a goat arose on her back at the center of her spine. (quotation from Wikipedia). See here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chimera_(mythology).

Today the word chimera is used metaphorically mainly to describe two things: a) something unthinkable or undoable (applicable in our case since there were some doubts initially if something like this can be done), b) in genetics: a creature or an organism composed of parts from other heterogenous organisms (also applicable in our case since I think this "creature" carries "genes" from all of us). (Better explanation here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chimera_(genetics) ). Below different artists' renditions of a chimera.
Nikolas.

RCoomber. I can't find a way to delete the poll. Tryed to mail the mods, but I got no replay.

You have to poste your vote...can't make more than one poll.

Assuming that one is allowed to vote for his own suggestion, I vote for chimera.

Also maybe this will help with the pronunciation.

cool, so it's pronounced "Kymera", or Ky-ma-ra. I like the sound of that. that second pic is cool. I have a buddy who does this stuff for a living and could make stickers based on that pic. if you are interested, I can get stickers made.

providing that name gets chosen. LOL
