Good one! Does it fly straight off or does it need full elevator correction whilst doing these verticals? I'm trying to kick it off my foot like in the nitroplanes video, up till now only disaster lol

I was the video guy for that one but my mini requires full down input right as the elevons leave the surface or it will nose up and over into the ground. Not sure how the 900's handle on vertical.

I was wondering if someone could answer a few questions for me. First off would be, is the 900mm version a good first 4 channel plane? Would I be able to use 2 part epoxy glue for the entire build? Also, I read that the servo wires are a bit short and some servo extensions are required, is this correct? Thanks in advance for any reply!

first of all its not a 4 channel plane. Two elevons and throttle so its 3 channels. There is no rudder.

You can use epoxy but you'll have to wait more in between steps. I used hot glue, several types of CA and epoxy in a few places. Hot glue really works very well for gluing the foam piesces together but its too thick for gluing in the spars. My servo wires just barely reached but I added a 3" extension on one side. It depends on how you lay out the components. They are marginal. Have a couple 3" extensions around.

As to whether its a good choice depends on what else you have flown. I found it a little tricky to find the initial setup (CG and elevons trim) to get it to fly. My first few try ended in immediate nose dives. By the time I got it working nicely, it was a little beat up. Flies great now. Tons of fun. In fact I am off to fly it now. Thinking about upgrading the motor to a CF2812.

Nonsense. Winds dying down to 9mph tonight. That 3' of snow we got hit with makes for illuminated fields and cushy landings
