Cool, BPhobbies carries this line of EPP models. Hopefully they will be priced lower and be better than the Swift II. While I love the Swift, it has gotten a bit spendy. Shame how they have the wires just dangling in the photo of it flying.

Cool, thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the heads up on the new wing. I'm also curious to see how this one compares to the Swift II. Not sure if I like the name yet, but the mount looks promising. I sorta' like the carbon too; maybe there's a more symmetrical airfoil to go with it.

Based on pricing at BP for other Techone planes, this one should come in at a good price.

I did that on purpose.
Wrights were from Ohio.

They flew in NC.

I was just pulling Mark's chain. I won't get into the argument that our two states have been having about NC's obviously wrong license plates.

The mini popwing might be great for indoor combat this year at the JR Fest.

No worries Azarr.
It was either flight on the plates, or "Home of Cancer Sticks". Not the same appeal!

Video of the PopWing

I just had first flights with the PopWing (bigger one). It flew very nicely and was surpricingly stable. Glides very well and the Tiger motor 2208 has enough punch for this. With it the CG came to the right spot with a 1000mAh 11,1 V battery. I was using 1300mAh and had to add a little up trim, but still flies straight at full throttle too.

Here's a video of it:

Something Witty Goes Here
picked my mini up saturday, plan to fly it tomorrow can't wait, it'd be my first wing

Oh Vertical, love the dog getting his/her exercise, looks like he just likes the chase, not the catch. Can't beat that.

Nice Vid VH!

I just put one together and it came out at 14.9oz AUW:

emax 9g servo
suppo 2208 50g with hardware

My problem is it need about 1.5 oz of lead to get the CG right. What's up with that?

Thanks for you comments Yes, the dog loves chasing airplanes. Just goes crazy when hearing the ESC start up sounds.

Battery weight is quite critital on this plane as the battery is the front. Battery should therefore be around 95g weight (atleast in my case, but your amount of glue and ESC + receiver weight may make a small difference). CG is now around 210mm from the front and I had to put a little up trim.
