Over a year of addict-grade buying I reckon I've easily saved $100+ in this manner.
I don't spend a huge amount but I have been given about $30 in credit so far

I also post my links in http://hk.rc-international.info/swarm so as many people can use them if they want the same items as I bought

Maybe used by other people or your are a platinum member at Hobbyking and then your price could be lower or equal to the buddy code price. In that case, you don't see the '*' you usually see next to the buddy price.

I see. Thanks. Yes, I am a platinum member, apparently. I'm not sure whether to be pleased or concerned.

Even so, as one of my recent orders still hasn't arrived, having been delayed by customs for a week, then further delayed by Parcel Farce, who wouldn't release it until I'd paid the duty and VAT, plus their handling charge, and wouldn't let me pay the fee until I'd received a letter from them telling me what the fee was, and what the reference number was for paying it (which I've only just received), I'll probably be less inclined to order from HK so often in future.
