I seriously doubt it will do 3D even with 37oz of thrust. I don't plan on using this plane for 3D anyway, so I'm sure it will be fine for me....

Not if you like to fly like an idiot, like I do

The motor is only about 50 grams more...

It may not seem like much, but that's over 6% of the weight of the plane. I'd bet your CG is going much too far forward unless you use a really small battery pack (or install it under the wing). Might be interesting though.

I might go for the wing option if itīs to nose heavy.
I just think that the plane is pretty underpowered.

Could be, but I'm not going to pass judgement on mine until I fly it. I have no intention of flying "3D", so I won't need crazy gonzo power. As long as the magic smoke stays in....

Smoke will come out of my ears if the stock motor starts to burn.

Hi,

Maiden today...unlucky still there was much wind.
Motor and ESC work perfect but the linkage of the servos is a weak point. The clevis have too much space. Need to replace them with better stuff.

Important point to watch is the rudder and elevator servo tubes!!! Wise to secure them better in the fuselage.
Now they can bend too much and that adds "swoppie" control. So wise to ad a piece of wood where you can glue the tube against.

So my first advice is to improve quality of the linkage. Too much issues.
If that is arrange, I hope to make the next flight soon
