The Puddle Shark! ADDED NEW HD DURATION FLIGHT!FREE PDF PLANS by BILLWHIT

http://www.stevensaero.com/StevensAe...4-p-20298.html : My inspiration.

Based on: "PuddleBug" designed by stevensaero.com . Puddlebug is a trademark of Stevens Aeromodel.

Thank you Sir Bill Stevens for the permission.

I own a few SA kits and they are AWESOME! I would like to build this one Bigger, ligther, hopefully a backyard flier. Freestyle building will start tonight. I am almost done drawing and brainstorming.I hope I can transform her into 3mm and 6mm depron. WISH ME LUCK!

Thanks to Stevens Aero for the inspiration. And to Sir Jimmy Flyers who's encouragement lead to these awesome slow R.E.T models. I fly fast flying jets that requires underwear changes in between flights, but these planes puts a smile on everyone's face when we do slowwwww fly by's.

3mm depron except for the top fuse cover. Lighter is SLOWER!
park 250 eflight or similar HK brand motor.
Gws slow prop 7040 for ground clearance.
10amp esc.
460mah 2s rhino lipo.
2x 3gram servos HK brand.
electrifly used tire, drexler style tires would be awesome but I will try to make one out of BLACK EPP FOAM.

ENJOY!

do it do it do it...

I was going to do the SA Mudbug from all 3mm depron & goofed the fuse. I made things wings & tailfeathers tho and just added my own Ol' Timer fuse and let me tell ya, it is the best flying front yard floater I have ever made.

I highly recommend it. I tried to keep it same size which was 22" wing. That UC wing is an awesome high lift airfoil and hands down is a better choice than any KF for what you want to do. Just MHO though so take that with a grain of salt.

I named mine the J-Bug in case you haven't seen it.

Check out the vids on the first page. That wing is the coolest.
Do it. You wont regret it.
I'll be watching for sure.

God Bless,
Jimmy

ps... found some orig build pics.

Thanks for the cool comments guys. I finished cutting the parts, I hope I can put her together tonight and see the AUW.

....Sir Jimmy, this will be the same size as the J-BUG, hopefully I can make her fly as nice your J-BUG. I was torn between this and re-building my HM8 avionette after the wing failure. SO I hope I can apply everything I've learned with this bird.

THANKS FOR LOOKING GUYS!

Plans will be up soon.

I will try and upload the basic outlines and the method I used to build it, but you guys can HIGHLY modify it to your likings. I will try and improve some areas(scale, weight wise), I love the way it flies as of now. The wings are pretty solid I was pulling a lot of G's during loops and I did not feel any bad tendencies. I will film her again.

I updated the build log with new pics.

ENJOY!
