Wow, this new plane sells really fast. There are only a few left on its release day.

The next batch will not come until the end of May.

I'm extra looking forward to this model arriving now after stoopidly decking my Addiction due to a dumba$$ assembly mistake of all things.

Will be interested to see how she balances up with 1800 mAh batts, as I've found many planes that say 1800 - 2200 really need 2200.

Hope the shipping is as fast as everyone says it is!

Blxpy, you are a lucky man to have crashed your addy so soon

No really, it took me 500 flights on my addiction and many more on other high performance balsa aircraft before I realised I needed foam to progress.

The Addy sits and waits with the others while I'm having too much fun with the Skywing 48" yak. If the MX-S flies anything as good as the yak you're going to love it.

Progress with the process...

So is there much difference in the HK Large Parcel service and the China EMS service? Only $6 diff. in price. I guess the extra packing is worth the $3 too?

I went with the more expensive shipping, I read somewhere on the website that it was a little quicker, whether thats true or not who knows. On my last purchase from Bestvalue the extra packaging through me in to a higher weight bracket, much more in shipping so I went without. Everything arrived fine, knock on wood. Went without it on this order also, should have checked the weight issue but was in a hurry so I'm crossing my fingers. Its worth it if it does'nt throw you in to that higher weight category.

What power setup are you guys planing to use?

I have a bunch of spare Turnigy stuff that I am going to try out on it. SK3542-1000 or L3015A-1000 motor, MG14 servos, Plush ESC and 2200 20C lipos.

Omega 103 gram motor, Torque 2818-900 equivalent, 35 Amp ESC, 2200 25c Lipos, may try 1800's, servos are still up in the air. Hoping it'll come out to under 35 oz's. The Hokusei Yak , 46", weighs in at 37 oz's, flies great with that set-up but would'nt mind it a few oz's lighter. We'll see.

Me too! I've got 2 kits headed my way; an orange and grey one for me and a red and blue one for nac.

I'm going to use the following gear:
Turnigy SK 3542 motor
APC style 12x6e prop
Turnigy Plush 40A ESC (or a 60A Plush if the 40A gets too hot since my motor and prop will draw about 45A)
MG14 servos
Rhino 2150 25c lipos

Me three

I've got an orange and grey one on the way.

I was thinking of using:
Scorpion 3014-1040 swinging either an APC 12x6e or Vox 13X6.5 wood
CC ICE Lite 50
HS 65MGs
Rhino 3s 2150 30c

If this doesn't provide enough power I'll switch over to a Torque 2814/820 swinging a Vox 14x7 wood. I've got this combo on the Hokusei Yak55m EPP HV and the power, speed and duration on the above battery is great.

Set-up for me:
SK 35-36 910 if it's weighty enough
1800 mAh 40 C batts (Right up front no doubt)
13" prop would be nice, but 12x6e looks to be the fashionable choice!
Hopefully my 40amp speedy will cope with that combo.
