What plane are you talking about? The MX2 or the GP Edge 540?

Hello all,

I have been searching around and I think this is the place to ask. I got this model along time ago and finally put it all together and it is now ready for the maiden (1400m mx2 from HK). Can anyone tell me the CG?

Thanks in advance,

I gave up when it became all but impossible to get my hands on one.

I GAVE mine away, in great condition, flyable, but without radio, etc. Gave it away. I just got tired of chasing the gremlins, so you are probably lucky you did not get one. When it flew, it was pretty solid and smooth ... until you added some up elevator .... wait for it to start taking effect.
Anyway, just not seeing much here.

I'll be flying mine again in the summer... actually, now that I think about it. That's a good one to put ski's on! Cheers!

I just bought an EagleTree Guardian 2D/3D, and installed it. I put skis on. Takeoff was beautiful on skis, but then again, I'd forgot that this baby has a need for speed, after flying my Skywalker 1900.

Turning from takeoff into down-wind, only one mistake up without Guardian on... Well, you can guess the rest.

It's glued together again, aileron servos changed, and I will try fly it again on the weekend, if the weather is nice. The glue/fly ratio must be 20:1 on this one... It's really for advanced pilots, but let's see if I can tame it with the Guardian.

I agree it is not a beginners plane. I have been flying big 3DHS, Extreme Flight, and GP planes so it was not tough to fly, it just ALWAYS needed waaaay too much "fixing" of things that I didn't break.
Anyway, I sure hope those that have stuck with it have great flying.

I would still trade any of my current airplanes and give almost anything to get my hands on one, I am still in love with the model and if in flight I discover she has vices I will accept them and learn to fly her accordingly. She is just too beautiful an airee not to own. Anyone wanting to sell or trade let me know ya. I have an FMS V7 P-51 blue nose in good nick to consider

Mine still flies fine when I take it out, but I have been too preoccupied (lazy?) to fix the undercarriage to stop it nosing over, so have to be careful with strip choice. Other then that, its all good I have been having some silky smooth landings with it every time.
