I really like everything about this OSD, only thing I see missing is a compass or heading.
Have just one question, does it have a max distance or alt. That it can read, in feet/miles.
I only ask because I just found out that my eagle tree resets it's distance counter after 65,534 ft out.
Thanks Marc

Simple heading info would be nice to have - just numbers, centered at bottom of screen. I think it is vital. Without heading info you can't really be sure where the aircraft is should you become disorientated and have to rely solely on the OSD. Maybe Skylark could make it optional in software.

Do I repeat the question it posts before, does it serve the second button that sull is found to what' osd? regards Al.

If you like, you can return the 10Hz module in exchange for a 4Hz module.
The second button only works in factory mode, when we first write program to OSD chip, we need the button enable some chip pins.

Skylark - I have not received my Trace OSD and Tracker

Hi Skylark,

I have not heard back from you. You said you would track the shipping. It has been almost a month since I ordered the Trace OSD and Tracker. So far I have received nothing.

This is too long for airmail, something must be wrong.

Respectfully,

Cliff

Trace OSD and Tracker Received

Hi Skylark,

I received the Trace OSD and Tracker this morning. The box came smashed and the OSD connectors were a little bent but should be OK.

Please consider better packaging for overseas shipment. You need to surround the Tracker with 2" foam on all sides and also wrap the OSD and components in plenty of bubble wrap.

Respectfully,

cliff

PS - Although I have not yet used the system, I am very impressed with the care and thought that went into the physical design. A lot of careful effort went into this product.

It would be nice to have long and lat values in basic mode without f-16 hud... Is it possible to get that option to next firmware?

No, the project had to be set aside for awhile because of other resposibilities. The plane isnearly ready to fly, and I should be able to fly in about 2 weeks.

Could someone with a current model Skylark mini OSD please confirm whether the GPS sensor actually weighes around 9 grams? Weight is very much an issue on my mini quadcopter and most GPS sensors are around 22 grams.

Skylark,

Would you consider selling the OSD with GPS but without the current sensor at a lower price point?
