Yellow Aircraft kits, Old vs. new deluxe kit..F-18

I would like to know what is the difference in between the deluxe kit and older early 90s kits?

I know one is epoxy and one polyesther kit but otherwise I do not know the difference.

I am interested in F-18 single kit for EDF conversion and I might know a place to get the old kit..

Get the new version and save yourself a bunch of problems. Polyester fuse was brittle. Improvements have been made to the whole design and will save you countless hours.

Ok, thanks! Your answer pretty much makes me lost interest in one old 90s F-18 kit which I have been offered.

I am glad I asked, saved lots of money.
