Depends really on how much shipping would be, I'd want to place an order for maybe 20 or 30

Wow Steve, I never thought after all the negative comments I got from your people on ardrone-flyers that you would actually use these LLC's.

I'm not going to be making it all one thing you plug into the board, I'm not keen on that. Il still have a ribbon going from the llc/plug to the arduino, we still don't know if this makes any difference to the problem anyway.

Maybe it's because it's a pro mini rather then a Nano. I haven`t had any issues with the problem you described.

Lucky you, I ordered 15 nanos from ebay, about 9 of them had problems straight out the box, 1 of them worked alright for a bit then failed, i never even bothered with the rest, so i wouldnt be too confident just yet.

In contrast, only 1 of about 50 of my pro minis seemed to have a problem, I know where my trust lies, plus I can make the units smaller with pro minis anyway.

These problems have been observed on both Pro Minis and Nanos both original and clones, so it looks like Arduinos don't matter here. At least not directly.

Yeah but how do you tell a person that they have a bad mainboard?
Maybe buy a drone, swap the mainboard and then return it to the store

My point is the problem is somewhere else than in Arduino.

If I would have to bet I would say LLC (as it is slightly off the right voltages). Hope your experiments with MiruLLC will provide more evidence.

My experience with Miru's LLC's have been nothing less then great. 2 wires to solder and never had the solid red light syndrome. Also, I burn a new bootloader on ever Nano I get.

What is the advantage of the new bootloader you use?

Actually, it's the same bootloader but sometimes it's not burned in properly and give wrong lock fuse bits example CC instead of CF.
I don't take chances take a couple extra minutes.

HobbyKing OrangeRX T-Six

Hey Everyone,
I just want to let you all know that I picked up the new OrangeRX T-Six transmitter. It's amazing how they copied the Spektrum DX6i.
The Gear switch is actually on the right instead of the left. Other than that, there is no difference. It even has that annoying beeping sound when you use the wheel. But for the price tag of $64.99 + shipping, you really can't go wrong. The best thing about using this type of transmitter is that you can program upto 10 different devices exactly like the DX6i. Pretty cool.
