Hey, any one have any experience with glue joints popping loose on 72" 330sc, I have had it happen on the wing tube in a hard landing and again in the air (fatal) with replacement wing, and have emailed and called 3dhs over last 6 weeks, two emails and 15+ phone calls and have not been able to get a hold of anyone.
I am a little frustrated with 3dhs at the moment because of the glue joint not holding but also no response of emails and not answering phone. anyone else having these kind of issues?

Waiting to purchase another but will probable choose another brand?

Thanks for listening to my rant, let me know if anyone has had similar issues.

Scott

My Dle 30/Cannister exhaust with a 19A Vess is a great combo! Hovers at 1/4 throtle. I have not weighed the plane yet but, I am pretty sure is weighing close to 11lbs.
Does the Slick have a tunnel in the fuse for the cannister muffler, or did you modify it? Any photos of it on the airplane?

I believe my 70" has a tunnel... I imagine the 71" is the same. I'm waiting for confirmation for sure. You can see it in this pic. Is that what yiou are looking for?

yes, my 71" Slick has a canister tunnel... however I'm running a DLE30 with a PITTS style muffler and I'm very pleased with the setup. Plenty of power!

We just decided to add smoke to my setup... jeez the money never stops lol. We are planning to make a tray that slides into the muffler tunnel with the smoke stuff mounted to it.

sounds like a good plan! you should be able to get a small smoke/fuel tank back toward the wing tube.

what pump system are you going to use.
Be sure to fuel proof the inside of the fuse area where your tanks are.

The sullivan's have been known to leak and the brushed motors burn out easy
These are more money but really last and don't leak.
