So.... What is it?

Take a look at the picture. First one to name it correctly wins a life time supply of propwash!

Ok so you don't really win anything except the deep satisfaction that you got it right!

Over a thousand views and no guesses?
I will tell you this. It is not a model.
It is full size and hanging in a hanger.

BINGO!!!
Yup that is correct sir!
It is being restored and the wood looks beautiful in person!

So what helped you identify it?

My buddy had the full-scale plans and all the wood bundled in his garage, and we spent the afternoon looking over the plans. The Pete is just a big model airplane, nothing more. Anyone who can handle a third-scale model can build a full-scale woody, it just requires more space (and more money).

Money is always a help!
In the same hanger are also several Super Cubs, Cub Cruisers and other airplanes in various states of (dis)repair.
I was there with a friend picking up a set of wings for his NE1.
