Razor350, E-tec 3s1p 1200, Castle Phoenix 25: 7,2 or 9V Low Voltage Cutoff??

Yesterday I got my Razor350 and Phoenix 25. De manual of the Phoenix recommends: program it (with 3s1p E-tec) for 7.2 V cutoff.

I read that the Vmin/ cell may not be under 3V (in rest).

What is the lowest V you may go (for short moments) during flight????

Due to Castles' recommendations: 7,2V / 3 = 2,4 V / cell. Seems very low to me. With the Phoenix programmed at 9V cutoff, the margin is quite small.

What are your experiences? How do the cells survive?

I want to use the set on a 3DX or Funtana/Foamtana, with a 6.6:1 gear and 11x4,7 prop.

I have the exact setup you do and the 9 volt cutoff works perfectly.
