"Made in Depron" 'LAS '
I'm not ever going to buy another kit model. I can build them small or big for the fraction of the cost out of foam, it is lot more fun, Joe.

I hear you. My last foamy was an F16 but your couldn't buy it "airframe only" so I just bought a spare fuselage (the difficult bit) then made my own wings, stabs, fin etc: flies a treat. My 6 year old son is showing an interest and so rather than spend a small fortune on a foamy prop trainer I'm building him one from scratch with the bits in my "parts bin" and the scraps of leftover foam from earlier projects. Honestly, the only thing I've had to buy is a motor and a prop - 'cos I've never owned a prop plane before! The great thing is that I can build it exactly the way I want it, the size that I want and he can paint it / put stickers on it. If he smashes a wing or any other part I can make new ones with the cutting guides I've now got.

Gee, that last gorgeous pic was popular, great colour co-ordination, this model is extremely noisy with revs at 190K , so I fly it at only my favored locations not to disturb the priest! Lot quieter flying today my silent ones, Mercury and Stumax powered beauts, hardly audible.

Latest upgrade to my giant "Twin Widow", full metal Mercury power plants on 8S, it should sound awesome with my new 3D printed bell intakes.

Static thrust test of the new power units wasn't as good as expected peaking at only 6 kilos with this 8 kilo AUW delta, with out the bell intakes. It will be interesting to see the final result after install of my new design 3D printed intakes.

Few more flights today in perfect conditions with great variety of models including couple of flights the new "Mercury" powered Proto, to compare few different lipo packs. Love the silence of it.

Another flight, this time on old slightly puffed up set of four 4S/5Ah/40C Zippys, hooked in ser. as 8S, bit of struggle taking off at extra weight but ones up still not too bad before disposal of well used packs over the years.
