E-Jets International 2011

OK guys, here we go.... E-Jets International is gearing up for another great year.

Same great location (just south of Columbus Ohio), same great volunteer staff, AND MANY GREAT VENORS AND PILOTS.

This thread will be for all things E-Jets related. We will post updates here... and welcome suggestions as well.

This is a 4 day event: September 8,9,10,11 although many showed up earlier last year...as early as Tuesday.

E-Jets specific information can be found here www.ejetsinternational.com

The Tork's (hosting club) website can be found here... http://torks.com/

A picture of the field is attached for those who have not made it to the event yet, and for those that did...a reminder of the fun ahead. The Field address and coordinates are in the field picture.

A picture of this years flyer with sponsors is attached. Note: This is last years sponsors list ... this flyer will change as sponsors change. We will also post updates to this thread.

Junsi / EP buddy will once again be providing some Icharger products for use in the charge tent during the event as well as some product for pilots prizes.

Products for the event raffle will be announced as they are secured.

SEPTEMBER YET?

Bob F. has T-38 correct? Hope he doesn't bring that. Could be dangerous to my wallet in T-38 envy.

New BVM MiG will be nice to see in action.

With the ginormulous foam jets coming out I'll be there will be a ton of cool foam flyers this year. Huge T-33 at Toledo this year. 67" span monster. Big MiG from Hobby Top Gun.

T minus 5 months and counting. I also hope everyone can make it this year, just adds to the fun. I think Billy D. and Douglass will have some interesting stuff from Jet Teng to see. See you all on Tuesday the 6th.

We are going to "Enhance" the Scale Competition for 2011. There will now be two divisions. A "Pro Class" for pilots that have competed in any major scale competitions or have had a podium finish in a previous E-Jets scale event. The "Am class" will be for pilots new to scale competition. Rules will be the same for both classes and awards will be for the top three in each class. Two rounds as last year. One Friday and one Saturday. Get those scale jets ready to go. Terry

Cant wait Terry!

Now the question is which class do I do? I can go for the Am class but I really don't want BobV walking away with all the rewards and want to compete.................

I hope to see many more scale planes this year and less speed plane BS.

Ok, that works, I was afraid If I make it that I would have to compete against world class Top Gun pilots at the tender age of 16
