Question for those that know,
So there is a list of approved motors, I searched the rules on the motor section so here goes.

Does the regulating committee allow rewound motors to a single wire design or would this be constituted as a new motor and be up to the same scrutiny as a newly manufactured motor style seeking approval?
To me 1300Kv is 1300Kv no matter how you cut it but doing single wire wouldn't burn ever at the power levels allowed.

The very first post on this thread lists the approved motors. They must be 100% stock, re-winding is not allowed.

Looks like Hobby King finally got their new motor approved.
