XPS Pro Fan Esc Settings For CC120HV - CC160HV Questions:


Anybody know the XPS Pro Fan Settings For Using A CC120HV CC120HV - CC160HV ?

Used medium setting and outrunner mode. Best check with Scott after this weekend.

i was told not to use outrunner mode,that is for big prop motors with low kv.

Yep, same I was told about the old version with the Big Screamer. I ended up at 5 degrees timing, the recommendation was 0 and inrunner mode, but I had to add some timing to prevent sync loss/stuttering above 2/3 power.

bob vincent set mine up for the LS/xps motor ...and the XPS pro runs perfect on the same settings...i just dont remember what numbers he put in

Sound like i have a product with no diretion on the right esc settings

You can't even google the settings

While we are on the subject of ESC setup for this fan would be good to know what it should be for the Hacker MasterSpin 170A ESC.

How about the other settings as it would be nice for others to see if any other settings should be changed also for the CCHV Esc's.



Throttle Response: High, Med, Low?

Motor Start up: High, Med, Low?

Motor Timing: High, Med, Low?

Cutoff Type: Hard Cutoff, Soft Cutoff?

Also what kind of numbers are expected on 12's 45c packs on this XPS Pro fan.

Are the numbers posted on your site numbers with 65C packs only?

That's all personal preference.

Performance varies dramatically with different batteries. Our numbers are using our 65C batteries.
