I'm thinking I like the flat top on these to either mount extra battery or camera etc. Plus the quick disconnect of the top if need be. Being a tupperware type of plastic it'll take a lot of abuse and won't crack when cutting or fitting. I might just screw the base on the more I look at it.

So what'd you do to be able to launch it in stable mode. I try that and it flips instantly on the ground

Make sure your "zero'ed out"

Gyro calibration,
Full throttle down + full yaw left + full pitch down

ACC calibration:
Full throttle up (disable motors first !) + full yaw left + full pitch backward

Ahhh ok. Did the gyro as told. didn't do the ACC but also didn't do the stable since I did the gyro calibration. Will do tomorrow. Looks like all week in 50's. Heck a heat wave

So far not too bad finally. Still some smoothing out but have to go to park to do that.

Thanks so much. Just trying to help out everyone as well as myself. This is more of a thread for those that have a Witespy platform and are ready to fly and tweak it.

Wow, a lot of good info I need to catch up on here. Flew 2 more packs today in higher winds. 12-15. Still did ok but you can hear the quad fighting the winds. Motors sort of give you that "waa waa waa" in unison as they are fighting to keep the quad steady (even out of auto level).

Not sure what P I D should be adjusted to bring this down a bit. Seems a bit to sensitive still. Ideas?

Now for some reason my auto level is not bad at all. Didn't need to tweak it today.

I just changed my settings again, and now she is all but perfect. she will hold position and very little drift. in both modes. I will put a screen shot up later tonight.

Great look forward to it. Your hint about plugging the battery in and having the quad level is where I think I was running into trouble before. Several times I'd pick it up and plug it in with quad at an angle. Thanks.
