what ya mean i have to land?
sorry if by my comments if you think i am bashing the q,far from it.i already have one preordered at horizon lol.i also picked up 4 more c bodies just in case.i now have sitting in the garage 9 unbuilt bodies and 4 built c models.think the q will be a good play plane to keep in the car in case i see a field i want to play in.it is diff tho.should be easy to flat spin with the rudders.i have built a c model with rudders but it was a pain.would like to see the rudder control horns moved to the outside of the rudders so a bigger prop can be run

seems about as much in common as a 1964 gto and a 1990 gto lol

Last I checked at my LHS, the replacement Stryker airframe was about $20. Not a bad price if you ask me.

as for replacement part and cost, you could get a killer CC ice 50 with data logging for the price of the 40amp,the charger could go with all the other bnf or rtf chargers in the corner,2 hs 82 servo's for 40$.

I am follwing the thread to read how many questions get posted that are already answerd in the F27C forum.
That would only be if you could find the answers in the F27C thread.I myself find it very hard to find any answers in the F27c thread there is no real index of any kind of what is where.over 12,000 post using search only helps to find stuff so much. Ken

I personally went out today and purchased a couple of new airframes for my F-27c today so I will have spares for the 3 I all ready own for when the C is discontinued. I also can't wait for the Q. I have it pre-ordered.

No they sell the main body for $20. It's not painted and you don't get, elevons, tails, canopy, rear hatch, control rods but, it's still cheap non the less.

Parkzone used to sell a painted Tiger scheme frame complete less the electronics for $85. So now they sell a new painted frame for around $100. Just like all the other Parkzone planes and just like they used to with the C.

well yes the bare fuse for a c is 20 they had the whole airframe as a tiger paint for about 85,and if you look at horizon website here it is
Painted Bare Fuse: F-27Q
$84.99 [PKZ5667]
sounds like a bare painted fuse for 85

Just picked up 2 c bodies today,40 bucks.
All you need to do is ask the question and it will get answerd.
Now Ill spend 5$ for balsa elevons and 5$ for some ply verts,5$ for a hatch.
Killer stryker full frame for 40$ tops!!!

I dont dislike the Q,Ill get one when they arrive, but IMHO they are nearly the same, with the same questions to follow.

Dont hate me for stating my opinion.

I'd still like to know this, any reason the Stryker can't be launched sidearm? I have shoulder problems and really don't have good control with an overhand launch.

Frisbee style launch would be much safer. That's how I launch my Superfly and scratch built F22 too.

What's the difference? Look at post #69. This is what I'm talking about.

I'll take one to run on 4s

FWIW it costs about $65 to build an entire unpainted C airframe as designed.
