Hi there bladeguy5,
Sorry for the delay....I was out of town.

That pic was snagged by me out of a video.

One of the guys on this thread, posted a You Tube video of Murdnunoc flying his F27Q.
I did a screen capture, then crop. [ I sent Murdo a text about it]
Murdo helped me finalize my original MEGA Q concept.

That setup on 4S is capable of over 130 MPH in F27C.....and maybe around 140 MPH on F27Q. {No diving, level flight averaged speed from both directions}.

The F27Q airframe has less drag than F27C but has less cooling airflow to motor.

Max 3S speeds should be just above120 MPH with over pitch 7" prop.

My F27C flew with 16/25/2 and large 3S at 118MPH into a slight head wind.

______

Another option:

MEGA 16/30/2CEQ for 3S-5S operation on F27Q for up to 150 MPH.

Murdnunoc test flew Flame's motor on 5S.

Regardless of motor, the airframe should be strengthened for high speed operation.

16/35/XQ and 16/40/XQ was purchased by one of the guys on this thread. I will not mention his name since he obviously wants to stay private....I can respect that.

I totally forgot which MEGA motor i have on mine, But i will say it is one sweet motor. Murdnunoc got me setup with it. I have never really pushed it like he does, but it runs great. I now fpv my stryker, So most likely never will, but its there if i want too

I got a great deal on the Ultra Micro Stryker and I am thinking about getting the big one. How do you guys hand launch the big one and not get your hand chewed up?

Sidearm (or Frisbee - very similar). A few do overhand, but as your question recognizes there's a bit of risk there.

That's gotta be the most-asked (and -answered) question on this thread.

Search those terms and you'll find dozens of posts.

Many with photos and vids.

i launch mine the way it was intended to be launched. from the hand grips under the belly. just dont make the mistake of leaving your hand there after launch, thats how fingers get chewed.
