I just finished the first alpha version of an FMS model of the new F-27Q Stryker.

It probably has way more rudder than needed as I can flat spin this one
at almost any orientation. It is still fun to play with though and I look forward to
people helping me tune the flight physics to make it fly better in the sim.

Clearview and RC Desk Pilot versions to come. Happy Flying!

Sorry folks, I do not have any sim that costs more than $40. I am more than happy to share my 3D model with someone who can make a model for RF, AFPD, Phoenix or whichever sim, as long as they keep the readme file and give credit for the model. -- ggunners

FMS works good on my lap top windows vista.I just had to get the d3drm.dll file put it on my desktop and it works.just do a Google search for the file and it will give you several sites to copy the file.I tryed to get FMS to work on my desktop computer running windows 7 no luck. I don't know if anyone has FMS working with windows 7

Have to admit i think new F-27Q Stryker is a good looking plane. i have not had one since the 1st version. with great 27mhx radio and 5 wire servos.

I think i might have to stimulate the US economy by buying one.

On the other hand i wish they have made a UM version of it. then i would be building time machine to travel in future to get one today.

Thanks.

For those who have not seen this fly, the videos do not do it justice. At SEFF, when the Horizon pilots had time off, they chose to fly the Stryker. I watched five fly Friday evening.

Mine is coming to my LHS.

Yea. But the thing that impressed me, is they had, what, 40 planes to choose from? And they chose to Play with the Stryker.

Yep.. Sometimes, one just gets flown more..

I've always disliked the Styker.. I'm not sure why.. I never had the slightest bit of interest in them.. I still think they're ugly as sin, but I've got one with my name on it..
