Great! Thanks for the info, and we'll noted about situational awareness

I assume the opposite would not be a good idea i.e. 4S on the 14x7? Too much prop for 4S?

Correct, you will damage or destroy the motor and/or ESC. I'm assuming the Thrust 40 motor and quantum 45A esc or equivalents.

I need some opinion on a battery. Would these be a suitable 4s choice? My 2650s won't fit and I'd like to have a little more than 2200.

trust me that after you fly the T40 on 4s with 12x6 you will not want a bigger prop LOL it has tons of power, and it really feels great, because the power feels very linear, so it doesn't have any strange "dead points" in the throttle!

Just got my batteries in. Zippy compact 4S 2450 35C. They fit perfect and will hopefully be great for some 4s flying

Hey, I need a bit of help. I have recently been building my new, red bandit that I got for Christmas. I just attached the elevator and got it perfectly level but in the process of gluing, I didn't notice the elevator slide back a bit. Now the elevator is no longer pushed up against the foreword stop. What should I do. It is stuck in very, very tight. Please help.

What kind of glue did you use?

This is a good example why I build with, and advise others to build with wood glue. Wood glue creates an incredibly strong bond, but also IMO is much easier to separate.

Thanks for such a quick response. I used 30 min epoxy from Hobby Town. It's stuck in tight. Any suggestions on what I can do?

Its not too far back, but it is enough to cause the rudder to stop a little early.

Hey, I can't think of a way to fix this for you Sorry.

I would suggest continuing with the build and just get as much rudder throw as you can. The plane should still fly ok as the rudder is big and will still have good effect.

I see you have only made a few post on here? Does that mean you are new to RC and planes like the Bandit? What type of flying will you be doing with yours?
