Well,, in FL if you don't like the weather, just wait 15 min. and it will change. I don't understand living where its snowing and 20 degrees!

A very well made and very smooth flying machine. All is A OK. The VCR and the HD recording is as nice as the view. So clear and crisp.
I have lots of places to explore.
I made a 7 minutes boring video and since it is minus 7 centigrade , my iPhone froze.
Yup good thing I was landing in front of me.
I could have tried the Return to home button,,,lol. I think I will fly from inside my car this winter.
Y'a.

You can even stay at home, program waypoints, and sit in fromt of the fireplace, while the DJI does the flying.

But glad to hear "Santa's new toy" agrees well on you.

Thanks Solo. Madame Santa is also very impress about that flying machine. Y'a.
Yes a very easy quad, to fly.
Slowly but surely I am learning new stuff.
Maybe next Summer I will fly stationary at 100 meters and fly the Vortex or the torrent around.
I might try the more or less follow me feature for the Vortex and the Torrent.
Hoping not to get a mid-air collision ,,,,lol.

Take care that Madame Santa doesn't decide te keep it for herself.

Using the Mavic Mini to film your quad's from bird's eye view is certainly an option. I'd only use follow on an open space, unless the DJI has obstacle avoidance.

lol. No she has other toys to play with.
Yes if I do play with the other quads.
I will have to be in a huge field .
Since there is no feature for obstacle avoidance for the MM.
Just a sensor for auto landing.

Christopher Cross -Sailling (4 min 36 sec)

"Sailing" by Chrisopher Cross: Those are America's Cup boats. You can see the hydrofoil on the keel.
The last America's Cup race dictated that all sailboats have 4 hydrofoils....2 in front, 2 in back.
On a good wind the boats literally sail on the 4 foils and the entire hull is out of the water.

Are you ever so lucky having snow. Here the snow is all gone once again, 4 and sunny.

As to trees in the Netherlands, there are many nature preserves there. The island were I was born had a couple of good size pine groves. This is the result of an experiment to see if pines could grow to be harvested. However it did not work out.
