Simple strong economic hexacopter in carbon and glassfiber frame
I started building my hexacopter!
The frame has been designed to CAD.
the arms are carbon tubes from 12mm and t-rex tailboom lock to secure them.
motors are chosen from 980kv
and the esc is 20A professional series by himodel (are the same of turnigy plush).
I've also drawn support for GoPro.
the frame is structured tower.
and I will use many dampers to reduce vibration.
I am waiting for my cnc cutting through the pieces.
I will use to start a KKcontroller although the idea is to pass a short Multiwii.
The purpose of this hexacopter is aerial photography with the possibility of payload.
shortly for updates
I am liking this project!!
Got me thinking about designing a new frame for my quad-gear..
I don't know where you got you parts (are they original align parts?) but here are the parts I will use if I do build this new frame:
Might be a bit lighter this way, thank you very much for the idea!
