Wich Mirage 2000 Is better? Rc Lander or FlyFly
Ok I was thinking of getting a 90mm jet, and I really like the look of the Mirage 2000.
From the you tube vids the FLYFly jet can be hand launched, wich is a big pluse for me as I have no concreat run way. But I do fly off tight grass, so if the RC Landers retracts can handle grass then there is a big pluse for me. So for you guys that got them wich is better? Is the thrust vecotring on the RC landers jet any good? |

mirage
rcl offers more variety plus the retracts are the main lure, flyfly very nice kit , but modifications needed if you want retracts, flyfly only has standard lg, rcl on the other hand has twin engines, so im going to have't to go with rcl on this one even though I love flyfly too.

I agree Tweeter. He is probably thinking of the Rafale that EJF sells, which is a twin 70mm.

I'm sorry I sent a message to a vender asking if he had stock and he asked me Wich one I wanted so I asummed it's been out. I just found what looks like a flyfly copy at HK for $180
So can a flyfly be hand launched? Can I get 8s to fit? |

I didn't get mine here, but this is the best price I have found on them and they said they ship from their location, not dropped-shipped, http://edfhobbies.com/index.php?rout...product_id=121 seems to be out of stock now though. Can't find it right now but I have seen a video of an 8s hand launch...that thing pretty much launches straight up! My current build, https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1378975 My first one, 6s
My current one has the same setup this one does, on 8s

That link takes me to the login page. You mean the camo mirage for $219? If so, yes thats the same one. By the way, they all (except the Jepe version) come with the fixed gear and fan. You do not want to use the stock fan unless you are only going to run 5s and even then I hear it isn't that great.
I highly recommend the Jepe version. Even if you don't buy the whole kit, do the ducting and leading edge mods like Jepe recommends. If going over 6s, glass it too. |

Yeah I understand there has been some selling, leaving of employees etc, not sure of the whole situation but I think that Hobby-Top-Gun now has the molds for the Flyfly Mirage 2000.
Check these out, http://jepe.org/shop/index.php?cPath...169aff029186ef |
