Thx alexjschauer the boat is one I make myself 1700mm long powered by a 35cc gas .
Location is Coral sea off Townsville Australia.
This boat has done a trip in the open ocean from Cairns to Green island return trip 36 miles which took 1hour 45 min nonstop I was amazed it went so far/long on 1 tank of gas.

All of the boat forums sites are slow right now, not really a lot of posting going on at the moment. Maybe we'll see it pick up as the winter building season is here.
I did get some time yesterday as I needed a sanity day off from my job after dealing with idiots so I spent a lot of it winterizing nitro engines then working on the only real project that I have for this year, a rebuild of the Falcon 41. Sometimes I have 2 or more going on this time of the year. Whether or not I finish it is another thing as I've already got 2 other Cat's.

I pull the plug out, open up the carb and this year shot some Corrosion X down it and spin them over with my electric starter for a few seconds. Put the plug back in and close the carb.
Some people get fancy and remove the motor entirely and bag it in a zip-lock. They'll also spray the outside with something like WD-40.

Speaking of winterizing... Can i winterize a weed eater engine just like my outboard for my real boat by spraying fogging oil in the carb?

I just had to show this shot off. My son was driving my Drag Cat during open water at the IMPBA Gas Nat's and Andre' Abtmeyer from the Netherlands took this shot. He apologized for the poor quality of the shot as he didn't discover until too late that he had a lens going bad. I'm not complaining as his worst pix are better than my best!

Now thats a Sick pic!! It looks like it just got on plane.
Sweet boat! What engine are you running? I know everyone has a preference. The plane nitro guys run O.S. and the gas guys run either Zenoah or DLE.
