Lotsa stuff
Hi Furballll,
Thanks for the reply but I don't understand the velcro part

" as for making them removable you can for some blocks the shape fo the bottom of the wing and put velcro on there its plenty stong, mayby cut down the part that goes into the wing abit but keep some of it as a centering guide."

Do you mean I should add side blocks (wooden?) to the legs flush with the wing and velcro to the underside of the wing? I can see triangular blocks but I'm not sure that's what you mean.

If the tip floats are fixed do they not catch and cause a cartwheel if the landing is not level? This is what I'm worried about and why I'm thinking about removable tip floats.

sorry. make blocks and glue them to the upright part of the tip floats then attach velcro to the bottom of the wing and the block this will make them tear off and not break hopefully. i never did this on mine and i did hit a wave hard and and hooked a tip float that resulted in it breaking off at the wing. i have never had an issue with the tip floats on land they just skip along nicely almost never touch the ground.

Here's how I did it on mine. Glue the 1/32" plate to the strut while pushing it up against the underside of the wing so that it follows the underside camber. You can then permanently glue the float to the wing, or use nylon screws, or velcro.

I did something using triangle stock to add width and then embedded magnets on each surface for attachment.

Interested in your aerial mast. Where can I get one and did you combine the 2 aerials into one?

Sorry, I thought I saw an aerial mast sticking up near the nose and that you were using it for your Rx with 2.4

There has been a few comments here that 2.4 might have a problem over water & a way to fix it is to elevate the aerials
