Okay time to change things out, need some opinions

THE Nitroplanes T-45 Hawk flys really good on 10s but I think the speed is maxed out because of the airframe. I am going to use that powersystem in a F-16 which might perform better. I am looking for a 90mm fan and motor that can run on 5s? is there such a poweful system for 5s on a 90mm fan?

No looking for a motor to run on 5s

with a 90mm fan, I know it wont go as fast but I want to build a F-16 with the current 10s system.

Yes we got that part, but what kind of performance are you looking for? A ballpark figure of Watts or thrust wanted is a good start. And what kind of battery size do you plan to use? You need to give us more details.

If you want 5S and to be powerful your amps may be high. Most likely in the 80's or 90's.

Are you takeing the power system out of the T-45?

Check out the HET F-16 thread, seems that it is perfect for 10s
By the way... I`m just starting to build the T-45 you mention

okay sorry for not being detail so here goes.

SO i have tested the HET 700-60-1485kv motor with HET 90mm fan and CC HV120 with the T-45 and seems to be good flyer. I am however wanting to go faster so my idea is to change the airframe to F-16. I want to buy a Motor for 90mm fan most likely HET 90mm fan that can run on 5s. I dont mind having shorter flights, but want to stick with 5s because I can interchange between planes. I am however looking at buying the tamjets F-16 1/8th scale so battery options might change but that is not 100% yet. I do have two jets right now. I have the T-45 hawk and the F-104 by HET. Both of my current jets can use the 5s packs. I have a 90amp speed controller. And the T-45 is already built. I just have to take the current power system out and put in a new fan and motor and the the speed controller I mentioned. MY 5s packs are 3200mah 65c xps. SO if I can get 3-4 minute flight I am okay with that. So which motor can go into the HET 90mm fan and run on 5s and perform well? I know it will not be as powerful as the system I have now but just to get it flying and having a little fun is all I want because I already have the jet built. I will make the F-16 a rocket. I have two choices for 90mm,either the HET F-16 90mm or the airpac F-16 90mm, or if I want to spend a big more the TAMJETS F-16 for 90mm. All three will have to be bungee launched.

I dont think you should spend that money for a Tam f-16, and good luck trying to get a Air pac f-16. So I think you should do the Het for your experiments, and as always take video and dont listen to anything anybody tells you. Just watch out for middle age women and there dogs.

Please don't bungee launch a tam 1/8 F16. If you do then you are a bigger tard then I thought.

No one mentioned how difficult it would be to fly a 90 size jet on a 3200 5s pack either....

really? you want to cut the voltage in half and still expect the same power system to have enough power to fly a plane? I honestly think your pulling our leg with this one
