Low Pass Filter or High Pass Filter?

I have a 900 mhz video tx and 72 mhz rc link. Video tx is causing interference for rc link. I'm taking other precautions to deal with the other interference, but would a low pass filter do anything to help? Or would it make no difference because a low pass filter attenuates everything after 900 mhz?

I flew that system for a while. Spacing of components should solve it.

You would need a high pass filter to protect your 72MHz gear if compnoent placement doesn't fix it.

Those filters are named based on what they allow to get through (or let "pass"). Thus "low pass" lets through the tuned frequency and below, while "high pass" lets through the tuned frequency and above. A notch filter might be another option which is sort of a combination of the two.
