I don't know where the STi gets the time from, but I know where the radio does - from the GPS satellites.

That's why I can help if you have a Spektrum TX available.

I'm not gonna be able to find a suitable Spektrum Tx any time soon...
Anyway, I called Horizon service.
After describing the situation I was told that it's most likely a bad sensor and to send it in for evaluation. Let's see what they say. I certainly hope it's just a bad sensor...

Thanks!

It was indeed a bad sensor.
Horizon sent me a new one.
Just got it a few minutes ago.
It works like a charm!

May I ask two important questions again ?

1. Is there an ETA on the SPMA9891 capacity sensor ?
2. Will there be a PC/OSX/Linux based logging and reviewing software one day ?

Sorry if that has been answered already
thanks

It's not really a matter if it's been answered already or not but more of you should already know the answer BUT then I looked at your join date and figured you probably don't know.

The answer that most applies to both that has been posted numerous times here, there and everywhere is Can't Confirm Nor Deny.

Right Now HH has a ARE YOU UNIQUE promo or something that's going to be releaved on the 15th but highly doubt that a capacity sensor and pc logging are unique...

But since you are posting in the telemetry thread and asking for PC, have you looked at this thread?

You asked three questions The answer to the first is, "Yes, you may ask two more questions"

1) SPMA9891 is for receiver batteries, particularly for the PowerSafe line. It is not for motors. I do not know anything about release dates, sorry.

2) Sorry, we do not talk about potential future products.

Ok, my bad...i am looking for the one that gives you the fuel gauge , how much has been used or is left in the motor battery.

2) Sorry, we do not talk about potential future products.

Noted...please count me in as a potential buyer if there is a future product.

In march I got a mail from spektrum about the variometer and they talked about the Nurnberg messe, so hopefully they will present it on the Nurnberg hobby messe in Germany
(From 31 Jan to 3 Feb 2013)

I think there is a chance for that...

My Spectrum pusher is going there, so I will ask him ASAP after the 3/2.

Cheers
