Can someone recomend some motors for my quad?

My quad is now slightly diffent than as shown below...
hey men, i was wondering if someone can recommend some new motors for my quad. right now i am using the FY90Q quad brain with turnigy 30 amp plush esc.

I have been trying these motors.
Turnigy 2217 16turn 1050kv 23A Outrunner
http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=5690

with 10x4.5 props on mikrokopter frame and 3 cell 2200 mah lipo.

issue is, it flys good indoors, but in the wind it gets all crazy and wants to flip on me. not sure what it could be. esc are set the right way to nimh mode, low timing, soft cut off. im thinking i need some better motors. wish to lift 500 grams payload? any hobby city motors can anyone recommend? thanks!

Hi ,
You should put your posts in the FY90Q thread. https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...04595&page=126
There are other reasons you could be having your flipping and oscillation issues. Things to check are the way the module is mounted(sometimes the isolation mount FY provides is not the best choice), if the board is loose inside(an easy mod to make it tight is in the thread) and if you have done prop and motor balancing(see the info in the Mega Index for prop and motor balancing solutions.

Those Turnigy motos should be OK for that size of quad. I have had good success with those and RCTimer 2830-14 750Kv and the APC1047 props. If your quad weighs less than 1Kg you should try the lighter EPP1045 props too. did you do the ESC throttle calibration?
Cheers,
Jim

Doesn't sound like motor problems - perhaps gain issue or bad ESC would be my guess.
