For 12 months or more, I've noticed a slight glitch in eBay's software regarding listings. Now as an example, on eBay UK, I have my "Favorite Search" set on "Aeroplane Engines". That is a sub-category of (in turn) Toys & Games > Radio-Controlled > Aeroplanes. At the moment on there, there is listed an ENYA 29-3B (item # 191415717903), and my normal procedure when looking for ENYA's is to click onto "Aeroplane Engines", type in the word "ENYA" and press search. If I do that I get 36 results but that particular ENYA 29 does not appear. If I go back one sub-category to "Aeroplanes" and look for ENYA, I get 56 results and the engine does appear. On the actual page though, it tells me that item # 191415717903 is listed under (final category) "Aeroplane Engines", which it is not. So if I just relied on "Aeroplane Engines" to find it, I would miss it completely - no big worry for a buyer, but it must disadvantage the seller somewhat. This could explain also, why sometimes when a seller lists a dozen or so engines, one will pop up in another category by itself

I have looked everywhere for one of these but impossible to find. Its for a Supertigre G65 marine. I could probably use straight nipples but it just wouldn't be the same.

I never knew that Davies Charlton made anything other than model aero engines (D.C.'s early 1950's address shown on the "WILDCAT" box) but here is their Hot Air Engine. Prior to Davies Charlton of course, there was Alan Allbon and the very last photo shows an Allbon "Arrow" glow.

Question for MECA Bill - I can find no mention in the A.M.E.E. of an Ohlsson & Rice 19 that doesn't have a staked-on head. This example possibly also has a sand-cast case - what is going on ? (box and paperwork shown on the end not associated with this particular engine)

Someone made his own crankcase with a broken or old Ohlsson, that could explain the bolted on head and missing of serial numbers ?

I strongly suspect that this is a Factory Special FOX Stunt 35, but again, we will have to wait for MECA Bill's adjudication. Note the different shape of the cast venturi, the unknown gadget on the fuel line side of the NVA, and the smooth head which is obviously a contemporary fitting

More factory "one off" specials, this time from the late Dan Lutz's collection - a 1949 / 50 Mel Anderson "SPITZY" with a sand-cast case (obvious in the middle photo)

Looks like a fuel shutoff to me. Knob pulls out/up vertically. Steel spring engages under the lip at the bottom of the knob. Fuel flows. Pull on cable. Spring moves back. Knob (spring loaded?) drops down and blocks fuel. Worked by down elevator for C/L or timer for FF?
