Think of the inner bypass porting of an Enya 09 or 15 (are you familiar with Enyas Bob? ). Now think of Schneurle porting where the shape of the ports directs airflow. Combine the two and add a few more ports and you have the Fuji IBS. It's very difficult getting a good photo of all these ports but the one below shows it reasonably well. There are actually 6 ports in the liner but numbers 3 and 4 angle towards each other to form a single exit point where a boost port would normally be. This is the liner from my Fuji 40, not the world's most powerful engine though .

A request - if someone has a collection of Model Airplane News magazines from the late 1970's, could they please scan and post Peter Chinn's test of the Super Tigre X 60 ? One test appeared in the Sept. 1978 issue, as well as the Sept. 1979 issue. Thanks in advance !

Due to much improved metalurgy, this 1966 McCoy 19 Custom "Stunt" proved to have a better life expectancy than the earlier McCoy 19 "Red Head", whilst still retaining the same excellent C/L stunt characteristics. Commonly known amongst collectors as "Lightning Bolt" McCoy's, these engines came from the factory with elongated front mounting bolt holes as shown. Featured a "Bunting" bronze bearing (as did the following "Series 21" McCoy's) with a ground & lapped forged piston. Also available in a 29, 35 and 40 size, as well as R/C models with a blue painted head (previous 1965 model "Blue Head" 19 R/C on bottom row)

Once much favored by pre-historic terrorists / plumbers, this is the Testors 049 "Pipe Bomb" engine, made in many different configurations for RTF models, circa 1975 - 1982
Note that the engines shown below have "mounting lugs" on one side only

Just for you Bill - here's an old New Hope 29 (with and without tank). Note the staked-on head. Wonder if they ever made a Bob Hope 29........?

An magnific engine collection from Mr Reginal Luycx, that appears to be from Belgium.
His collection is outstanding and have a great variety of model engines of various kinds, and some vintage models as well (vintage c/l and tethered cars)
