Cool

F3B Clinic in CV!!! Saturday April 30th (for the newer guys)

Date: Saturday April 30th I would like to get there at 9:00 to start setting up. (Across the street from the Hotel)

A number of you have already stepped up and made donations, purchased shirts and raffle tickets and really shown your thoughtful support of our US team going to China. I want to do all I can to reach out and give back……. And somehow say Thank You for your support! This is one of the best ways I can think of to do that…… An F3B Clinic for the newer guys.

So…..I’ll be setting up the course, my 4 winches and only fly to “demonstrate” what it can look like. The rest of my time will be helping you all.

Let me know which date works for you or if either date will work for you.

My hope is that it will help you have more confidence for the CV event in May and get your foot in the door before the real thing.

I want to get out there with any of you “newer” guys for a full day of practice. I will be there to serve, help you set up your models, how to fly the course, answer ANY questions you might have, ect.

If you have winches please bring them. If I break lots of my line please donate a bit for that to help cover my line cost.

We will each have to pay Ken $10 to use the field.

Here is a list of pilots I have in mind but if you are new and not on this list you are welcome too!

David Olson
Target
Brandon
Aaron
Paul
Lex
Mark
Sam
Jack
Who ever else would like to join!
Who did I forget?

So…. Who’s in!

You are awesome, Kyle! Being taught by a top B pilot and one of the nicest guys in the soaring community! What's better? I could make it if it were a week earlier but that is a busy time for me. i will try my best to make it. You are a real gentleman!

Guys.... Saturday April 30th can also work for me. If we have more interest for that day maybe we could do that instead.

Let me know which day is better for each of you OR if you could do either of the two dates.

Good?

PS: I'm not a gentleman.... I'm a mean competitive grouch! Ask those that know me well.

I have 2 winches/batteries and some line I can bring. I will come in Friday night and might stay over Sat. night as well. It is a 6 hour drive for me.

Questions:

1. I bought the TS sighting devices from Thomas, should I bring them? (3 of them)

2. I have 3 walkie talkies and will bring them if you think we need them.

Kyle, it only seems fair, if you stay a night we will pick up your expenses as well as the line cost.

Thanks,

Dave

Dang, I can't support the training event as it conflicts with the IHLGF. I'll be thinking of you guys though. Have a great time.

Thanks Mr. Olson but I do the drive for one day all the time. It takes me about 2 1/2 hours.... I like the drive.

I will have all the equipment we will need even the radios.

Just bring the winches and line.

Very cool!
